My Personal Side:
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, as a litle girl, I was the teacher to my classroom of stuff animals. Teaching and sharing what I know has always been a part of my life. I am so enthusiastic about financial education because many years ago, as a young adult, I struggled financially and was afraid to address it. No one knew it because I had all the material things; house, cars…yes cars, clothes, electronics, you get the idea, and a great job. But I was in debt up to my ears until I realized there had to be a better way!
Long story short, I did the work it took to get out of debt and learned how to make my money work for me. Then I started showing others and have been doing it ever since. Fast forward to today and I still love showing people how to make that move to get out of debt and make their money work for them.
I am no one special, I just did the work, and if I can do it, I know and have seen others do it too!
I get to share my life with my husband, Rev. Jerome Morris, USMC (Ret.), for 23 years and counting. I co-parent with Jerome, and we have three adult children currently living financially healthy lives. I am so delighted to announce that we have our first grandchild in our family!
